Busy busy busy

That about sums it up.

Busy planning two trips to Norway this year, busy at work, busy knitting, busy, busy, busy.

In between all this business, I decided I was not happy with the sleeves of the Twined Von. So I have reknit them, or mostly. I have 10 rounds left to go on the second sleeve, then I will block again, and see how things go. Because of the twined knitting, the little join where I reknit is currently visible, but I am going to try a cosmetic fix -- in effect "embroidering" or "cross-stitching" over the trouble spot (in which one side of the stitch "v" seems to be sitting deeper than the other side). I optimistically believe that this, combined with the blooming of the wool during blocking, will look just fine.

Also, I've been working on my very own Clapotis, in the autumn leaf coloured Alfabetto I bought in San Francisco last year, which knits like a dream for the most part. It will not be finished before my trip most likely, but that's okay; it will be good plane knitting, and I like the idea of knitting something almost universally known in a city I've never been to. Perhaps it will be an icebreaker and I'll meet a local knitter or two...
